Your Auto Policy Stops Where the Pavement Ends

Personal auto policies specifically exclude off-road vehicles. Even if you load your ATV on a trailer covered by your truck policy, the ATV itself is not covered while in use. Specialty off-road coverage fills this gap entirely.

What standard auto or homeowners pays for ATV/UTV damage โ€” you need a dedicated policy
๐Ÿค•

Medical Payments

Off-roading carries real injury risk. Medical payments coverage pays for your medical bills and those of your passengers regardless of who was at fault.

๐Ÿ”ง

Custom Equipment & Accessories

Winches, roll cages, lift kits, stereos, and performance modifications can be scheduled for agreed-value coverage so your investment is fully protected.

๐ŸŒฒ

Riding on Public Lands โ€” Liability Matters

Many state and federal riding areas require proof of liability insurance. Off-road liability coverage protects you if you injure another rider or damage property during your ride.

FAQ
Your questions,
answered.
Does auto insurance cover ATVs and UTVs? +
No. Personal auto insurance policies specifically exclude off-road vehicles. You need a separate specialty policy for ATVs, UTVs, and other off-road vehicles.
Do I need insurance to ride on public trails? +
Many state and national parks, OHV areas, and recreation areas require minimum liability insurance to ride. Some require registration as well. We'll make sure you have what's required for the areas you ride.
Is my ATV covered when stored or trailered? +
Comprehensive coverage on a specialty off-road policy covers theft, fire, and weather damage when stored. Coverage while being trailered can be added โ€” make sure both the trailer and vehicle are properly covered.
Can I insure a golf cart? +
Yes. Modified or high-speed golf carts, neighborhood electric vehicles, and LSVs can all be insured under specialty policies. Standard golf carts used only on a golf course may be covered differently.
